Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Scott is a Cinematographer currently based in Los Angeles. His first connection with imagery started 15 years ago with a Bolex 16mm that he used to film his friends snowboarding throughout Michigan. Since then, he has cultivated a well versed background in cinematography and lighting by working on numerous commercials, music videos, and blockbuster movies such as Transformers: The Last Knight. His technical background comes only secondary compared to his collaborative spirit and keen desire to understand the project material. A cinephile and a creative problem solver, Scott injects his own cinematic language to his diverse body of work. It encompasses various genres, such as commercials, experimental films, music videos, and documentaries. His recent work collaborations include “Mukbang Roller” (Dir. Curry Tian, Nowness Asia), Toyota ft. Wolftyla, “Dying 4 Your Love” (SNOH AALEGRA), Orlando Bloom, Madison Beer, Mark Tuan (Got7), amongst others. He’s set to shoot his first feature in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 2022.
